Meet the Tutors
Graham studied at the London College of Music followed by a postgraduate course at the National Centre for Orchestral Studies. He teaches Violin, viola, piano and keyboard. Graham conducts HAYSO and can regularly be seen playing professionally in orchestras for opera, choral societies and musicals in the local area.
Lauretta started her violin studies aged nine. At 14 she had achieved Grade 8 with distinction and at 17, was granted her licentiate performance diploma. Lauretta studied violin performance at the Royal College of Music with Jaroslav Vanecek and received coaching from the ‘Chilingirian String Quartet’, Benjamin Zander, George Hurst and Sir David Willcocks. She completed her studies with a final recital performance achieving an honours degree and a Dip.RCM (teaching diploma).

By playing in an ensemble you have the opportunity to take part in concerts and events throughout the year, earning vital performance experience.

Making music is a fun and sociable activity. Joining a Music Centre activity gives you the chance to meet, play and perform with other like-minded musicians.
Earn a Digital Badge
Being a dedicated member of an ensemble gives you transferrable skills. If you are age 14 and above you have the opportunity to earn three digital badges to showcase your new skills on your CV.

Apply for an Audition
This ensemble requires an audition to take part, students can apply for an audition at any time however please read about the audition requirements before applying.
If there is not space for a new member to join straight away, the student will be placed on waiting list.
If you are successful in your audition, a member of the Create Music team will be in touch with all the relevant details you need.
