Lisa de Simone

Violin Teacher

Lisa studied violin in Italy gaining a MMus at the Conservatoire of Music in Parma and attended an academic Post graduate Chamber Music Master in Sacile (Pordenone) - at "Serenissima Academy" - under the guidance of Maestro Luca Simoncini. Lisa teaches violin in a wide range of settings, from beginner up to advanced level. She is Curriculum Lead for Strings in Brighton & Hove and teaches in several; ensembles across the service.

Stephen Giles

Stephen Giles

Violin & Viola Teacher

Stephen has worked with professional orchestras in the UK and abroad, in addition to working with chamber ensembles and in film and TV. He has worked with Create Music (formerly East Sussex Music) since 2000 and teaches violin and viola to children aged 5 to 18, in schools in the Lewes area, and in several ensembles across the service.

Making music is a fun and sociable activity. Joining a Music Centre activity gives you the chance to meet, play and perform with other like-minded musicians.

Earn a Digital Badge

Being a dedicated member of an ensemble gives you transferrable skills. If you are age 14 and above you have the opportunity to earn three digital badges to showcase your new skills on your CV.

Apply Online

Pupils can apply at any time if they know which Ensemble they wish to join.

Waiting List

If there is not space for a new member to join straight away, the student will be placed on waiting list.

Once space is available, a member of the Create Music team will be in touch with all the relevant details you need.
