Once your application is received, your child's place is confirmed. If your chosen activity is currently at capacity your child will be put on a waiting list. A member of the Create Music team will be in touch once a space is available.
An invoice will be sent 4-6 weeks before the course start date. You will receive more detailed course information 2 weeks before the start date.

Richard Baker
Course Leader
Brass
Richard attended Hangleton Junior School where he was inspired by the music teacher to take up the cornet. Following his further education studies at Salford University, Richard performed full-time in London for ten years as a member of the Metropolitan Police Band and freelancing for shows and orchestras. He has been teaching for over 25 years and in 1997 studied for his PGCE at Sussex University.

Victoria Hancox
Woodwind
Victoria attended Chetham’s School of Music after which she won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music. While there, she won the Douglas Whitaker Chamber Music Prize and the Royal College of Music Flute Prize. As well as teaching flute and recorder for Create Music for many years, Victoria also enjoys playing in local groups including the chamber group ‘Sussex Flutes’.
Natasha Gawlinski
Woodwind
Natasha has been working as a teacher and band musician for over 20 years. She has played in funk, Latin, samba and jazz bands and performed at many festivals around the UK and Europe. After doing a music degree and PGCE Natasha has worked as both a secondary and primary class teacher as well as teaching woodwind to pupils in Brighton and across East Sussex.
