Spring Concert: Create Music Youth String Ensemble

Join Create Music Youth String Ensemble for an evening of music, featuring bass clarinetist Hannah Shilvock, at St Luke's Church, Brighton

Create Music's Youth String Ensemble is excited to announce that they will be performing at historic St Luke's Church this spring part of the 'Music and Wine at St Luke's': series. The church is named so because the foundation stone was laid by the Bishop on Chichester on St Luke's Day in 1882. The silver trowel used on that occasion is still kept in the church safe!

The main feature of this concert will be Concerto for Bass Clarinet and Strings by Geraldine Green, with soloist Hannah Shilvock. Hannah is a Brighton-based, award-winning clarinet and bass clarinet specialist, known for her pioneering work in showcasing the bass clarinet’s virtuosity, and has built a reputation as one of the foremost performers of this instrument.

Conducted by Stephen Giles.
