Create Music's Youth String Ensemble is delighted to host an intimate concert in historic Berwick Church, nestled in the South Downs between Lewes and Polegate. Dedicated to St Michael and All Angels, the Grade I listed church dates back to the 12th century, with visitors regularly coming to see the famous Bloomsbury paintings by the artists Duncan Grant, Vanessa Bell and Quentin Bell.
The repertoire will include Purcell: Chaconne, Bach: Violin Concerto in A Minor, Boccherini: Fandango & Walton: two pieces from Henry V. Conducted by Stephen Giles.
