Meets at our Eastbourne Music Centre at Ratton School and runs on Saturday mornings during term-time. We are a new ensemble, having started in Summer 2021, and have not yet given any public performances – but we have great plans for the future! We provide instruments, and members are welcome to bring their own.
We have four friendly and experienced Create Music tutors who jointly lead the ensemble: Anna Dolphin, Vieda Mercer, Bethan John and Adam Bushell. Between them, they have a huge range of musical experience - from classical music, to folk, to funk - and can play a huge array of instruments.
Our rehearsals are open to all 12-18 year olds of any level of experience, any ability and any musical background (or none at all). Parents and carers are welcome to drop their children off, or to stay and join in as well – we are always very pleased to welcome family groups.
