Create Music is the Music Hub for Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. We have a long history of delivering high-quality, inclusive music education and an established way of working with a large group of partner organisations, schools, young people and stakeholders from different sectors to develop our collective strategic vision for music in the region.
Our region has a rich cultural landscape, with Brighton Dome Brighton Festival, Glyndebourne and De La Warr Pavilion among the established cultural organisations located here. Together we offer a rich and diverse range of progression pathways for young musicians and work collaboratively to deliver on our local priorities and the requirements set out by the Department for Education in the National Plan for Music Education.
Building on our extensive experience of collaboration and partnership working, we bring a wide range of organisations together to develop new and exciting opportunities in music for children and young people.
Create Music is part of Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival and is the lead partner of the Music Education Hub for Brighton & Hove and East Sussex. We also lead ‘Future Creators’ the Cultural Education Partnership for the Greater Brighton region.
We are looking to appoint new members to our board, supporting us to realise our goals and continue to support young people in the South East.
