Lewes Music Centre has been based at Priory School for over 30 years, with plenty of space for classes, rehearsals, concerts and all-important tuck shop! We are a stone's throw from Lewes train station making it easily accessible from all areas of the county. We are lucky to also make use of the Performing Arts Centre within East Sussex College, which is one of the bases for the music service.
Lewes Music Centre offers a wide range of collaborative opportunities for young people at all musical levels to enable them to explore music in a range of styles and develop their musical skills. We aim to provide first opportunities for young musicians and to expand the knowledge of the more experienced players.
Activities include Youth Orchestra, Concert Band, Youth String Orchestra, Beginner Strings, Junior Wind Band, Keyboard Group, Classical Guitar Group, and Youth Flute Ensemble.
