ONE VOICE FESTIVAL OF SINGING

7 Jan 2026

A huge congratulations to all of the primary school children who took part in the One Voice Festival of Singing, produced by Create Music in partnership with Glyndebourne and De La Warr Pavilion!

Over 2500 children performed in one of 11 concerts in three iconic local venues, Glyndebourne, De La Warr Pavilion, and for the first time this year Brighton Dome Concert Hall.

We were blown away by the energy and talent of the young people as they took us on a musical journey on trains and ships through snowy and candle lit scenes. The range of music and quality of singing was very high and the massed school choir delighted audiences, singing in Arabic, Bulgarian and French and performing music from different cultures, traditions and periods of history.

The choir were joined by Melissa Gregory, a soloist from Glyndebourne and talented young musicians from Create Music, including Create Music Youth String Ensemble and Create Music Brass Ensemble, to create a magical evening and a truly festive celebration.

Create Music would especially like to thank teachers from all participating schools who worked with pupils throughout the autumn term to learn the songs and prepare for these special performances. Well done to everyone involved in bringing these wonderful concerts to life.
