Dates and venues for the CPD will be shared following the application deadline. Schools that took part in 2026 performances will have the option of attending an online CPD to learn changes to the resources for 2027.

Costs and additional support
Costs
An £85 school contribution will be payable for each participating school based on a class group of 30 children* participating in the community performance.
*Schools will be allocated 30 spaces (or a class group) in the first instance. You can request to bring more children which will be recorded on a waiting list. If we have capacity after the deadline of 20th November, we will allocate additional places from the waiting list. Schools bringing more than 30 students will be charged an additional £1.50 per child.
Additional Support
Schools will receive the full resource pack and are encouraged to join one of the launch events for teachers to learn the songs, explore the creative exercises included.
These comprehensive resources are designed to be used by classroom teachers or music specialist teachers to learn the songs and story in school. These include:
- Audio tracks to learn and accompany the songs
- Makaton videos to encourage multi-sensory learning and accessibility
- Guided lesson plans to support you to deliver your summer term music curriculum
- Guidance about staging your own performance in school
Travel
We are touring this production widely to minimise the need for you to travel. Where possible we encourage schools to travel by foot or public transport. Some schools use parent/carer lifts to access the venues. We can pair schools up to share cost of coaches where appropriate. Get in touch to find out more.
