Create:Rocks is a fun, pupil-focused music programme where children learn by playing in small group bands. Pupils will develop confidence, teamwork, listening skills and creativity, while learning to perform with accuracy and expression.
Pupils will learn to transition between parts and apply things such as dynamics and arrangement choices. After a few weeks the band will have a complete song that they can play from start to finish together and be ready to hit the stage (should they wish to!) Each session provides a focus on not only each instruments individual techniques but the cumulative effect of these instruments all playing together in a band.
