Create Music's Youth String Ensemble is delighted to host an intimate concert in the historic St Andrew's Church in Bishopstone; built between 600 and 800 AD it is perhaps the oldest Saxon church in Sussex. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this historic church and enjoy some stunning Anglo Saxon and Norman architectural features whist enjoying our String Ensemble perform an eclectic repertoire, including Grieg's Holberg Suite, two pieces from Sir William Walton's Henry V Suite, Concertino Pastorale by John Ireland, Ankara by Aanu Sodipe (based on Nigerian melody) and Farnham Fantasy, especially arranged for the String Ensemble by Peter Copley.
