Local Highway Network: Lewes Road is a two-way carriageway with dedicated bus lanes on both sides. Lewes Road is subject to a 30mph speed restriction and offers connections to the A27 to the north and the A23 to the south.
Drop-off and Pick-up: Sound Rooms is on the opposite side of Lewes Road to the Pavilion Retail Park (which includes B&Q, Aldi, Halfords, Hobbycraft and Costa). There is a loading bay in front of the Student Castle reception, where drop-off activity for Sound Rooms may take place. Please note that Sound Rooms has a separate entrance, just south of the Student Castle entrance.
Alternatively there are opportunities for drop-off to take place on Coombe Road. There is a row of parking on the eastern side of Coombe Road which permits parking for up to one hour between 09:00-18:00 hours Monday to Saturday. There is no limit to parking duration during the evening.
Many of the roads surrounding/behind Sound Rooms are residential streets. Most streets are part of Zone U which includes parking restrictions (permit holders only) between the hours of 10:00-11:00am and 17:00-18:00pm, Monday-Friday.
