A free, one-day music education event for secondary music teachers at all stages of their careers working in schools across Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, West Sussex, and University of Sussex partnership schools.
A range of current regional and national Hub partners, and Exam Boards are also invited.
The conference is a collaboration between the University of Sussex and the Sussex Music Hub (incorporating Create Music and West Sussex Music). Themes will include a focus on the implications of the Curriculum and Assessment Review, curriculum development, supporting composing at KS3 and KS4, recruiting to KS4 Music, using technology in the classroom, supporting ECTs, wellbeing for students and teachers and developing singing in class.
The conference is FREE to attend for colleagues working in all secondary schools in East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton & Hove and Wider Sussex Partnership schools.
Ticketed admission is available to colleagues working outside of Sussex.
