Open Access courses require no previous experience - just sign up and come along!
Courses start at £37.50 for a 1-day course and are available for a range of instruments/voices, with opportunities for children and young people from year 2 to year 6.
Our 1-day courses include Let's Sing, Let's Play Ukulele, and Samba Band. Our team of experienced Create Music teachers and supervisors will provide a fun and dynamic learning experience where all budding young musicians are supported and encouraged as they work towards a celebration performance for parents at the end of the day.
Our 2-day music tech courses include GarageBand, where students will learn about music production techniques and then produce tracks using GarageBand software on iPads, and Debut Music Production, which uses our tech suites in Lewes and Eastbourne where students will learn how to program music using a range of effects. On both courses, students will produce a portfolio showcasing their tracks, which we will be uploaded to Dropbox to impress family and friends at home!
New for this year an exciting new 3-day course, "Sing - Make - Play!" for Years 4-6 who want to develop their vocal, creative and performance skills. Learn songs; write new songs; explore how to use your body to perform and tell a story; develop your musicianship. Each day will combine fun warm-ups and games, quick learn-material, break-out groups to write/devise and whole group rehearsals. This course will culminate with a performance of a brand-new piece which will be created in the sessions!
