Create Music Academy returns this July for three exciting weeks of music-making. Explore our full programme of inspiring courses taking place across Brighton & Hove, Lewes and Eastbourne using the link below.
Hosted in fantastic venues including Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts, Create Music Academy offers 38 courses for children and young people of all ages and experience levels — from complete beginners to confident young musicians.
Whether your child already plays an instrument or simply loves music and wants to try something new, there’s something for everyone. Alongside popular returning courses, we’re offering a wide range of accessible options with no previous experience needed, including singing, music technology and samba.
New for 2026, we’re expanding opportunities for young singers.
‘One Day One Voice’ invites children who took part in the One Voice project to build on their experience and develop their skills further and ‘Vocal Ensemble’ offers secondary-age singers the chance to explore music from musicals, popular genres and folk traditions, while developing harmony, ensemble skills and performance confidence.
We’re also introducing a new Percussion Workshop in Lewes — perfect for drum kit, percussion, piano and keyboard players (Grade 3+) who are ready to try something different and expand their musical skills.
All courses are led by our experienced Create Music teachers and supported by a dedicated team, creating a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment where every young person can thrive.
Each course ends with a celebratory performance - a chance to share achievements and celebrate progress together.
We’d love to welcome your child to Create Music Academy 2026!
