Making music is a fun and sociable activity. Joining a Music Centre activity gives you the chance to meet, play and perform with other like-minded musicians.

As part of your membership you can take part in our online activities under the Virtual Music Centre. This includes Beginner, Intermediate and Grade V Theory.

Jenny Privett

Vocal Teacher

Jenny is an experienced singer, director and voice teacher who loves to get voices opening up and rhythm flowing, so we will explore a big range of music from folk to classic to pop, with lots of well known tunes and some surprises.

Björn McAteer Dahlberg

Bjorn McAteer-Dahlberg

Saxophone, Clarinet & Flute Teacher

Björn teaches saxophone, clarinet, flute and keyboard and leads the Hastings Jazz & Funk Band. He gained a Masters of Education in jazz saxophone at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and has also toured worldwide as a keyboard player with The Show - A Tribute to ABBA for almost 20 years.

Pupils can apply at any time if they know which Ensemble they wish to join.

Activity Confirmation

Once space is available, a member of the Create Music team will be in touch with all the relevant details you need.

If there is not space for a new member to join straight away, the student will be placed on waiting list.
